MOBILE IDENTITY HUB

Intent IQ’s Mobile Identity Hub ('MIH’) service addresses MAID-less environments, such as the one created by IDFA deprecation or AAID future elimination, by stepping-in and providing a privacy friendly universal ID that facilitates cross-app targeting and attribution.

 

MIH works by clustering mobile apps’ user IDs of each of the apps on a device, and providing the cluster along a device universal ID, regardless of IP address and user-agent changes. 

 

Intent IQ's solution is in line with the online advertising industry standards and in compliance with applicable requirements, including CCPA. Originating from the people that invented and evangelized AdChoices, privacy is in Intent IQ's DNA.

 

While according to the law and industry privacy regulations, passing mobile app user ID to third parties does not require consumer opt-in consent in opt-out based regime geographies such as the USA, Intent IQ believes that for the benefit of consumers and the industry, consumers consent should be obtained utilizing consent pop-ups. Intent IQ’s CTV Graph matches a CTV IP address and streaming device ID with a household’s online devices regardless of the devices’ environment, whether cookie based, cookie-less, MAID based or MAID-less. 

Intent IQ further provides the hashed email identities associated with the devices.

Intent IQ’s CTV graph facilitates CTV targeting and attribution using online and offline data.

CROSS DEVICE ATTRIBUTION

In today’s highly connected world, people use a variety of devices, such as phones, laptops, tablets and CTV streaming devices.

This explosion in multi-device ownership has caused a surge in the number of cross-device consumers— consumers who start and complete their customer journey on totally different devices. 

For example, a bicycle enthusiast might begin the customer journey by viewing a targeted mobile ad campaign for pedals, and later in the evening the cyclist is exposed to the same campaign on their laptop and purchases the pedals - thus completing the journey from view-to-sale on two different devices.

To compound matters further, marketing attribution has become even more difficult as the world moves toward a MAID-less and third party cookie-less world. Work-from-home culture, where the office and house environment have become blurred, adds to the complexity.

ATTLICA™

ATTLICA is a patent pending cross-app attribution solution.

When a client’s IDFA-less data is assigned to a device by Intent IQ, the data is immediately turned into aggregated data, to avoid device-specific cross-app attribution. This aligns with Apple’s App Store privacy and data use practices. 

However, unlike SKAdNetwork, Intent IQ is able to provide the same granular attribution post-iOS 14, in scale and with the same accuracy, as pre-iOS 14, along with months-long attribution time window. 

 

  • Utilizing Intent IQ’s Graph device app-user ID cluster, Intent IQ turns every ad impression and action reported by Client to aggregate data by assigning the reported ad impression and action data to both the device where they took place as well as a randomly selected similar device. 

  • As a result, Intent IQ is denied the ability to measure attribution on an individual device (because the ad impressions and actions associated with any given device may be made-up), thus aligning with Apple’s App Store privacy and data use practices. 

  • While not able to identify an individual device where action or impression took place, Intent IQ is able to calculate attribution exactly and offer clients granular attribution analysis, just as before. 

FRAUD DETECTION

Identity fraud is a major challenge to many industries.

Intent IQ provides identity fraud detection service with a focus on Account Take Over and New Account fraud. 

 

For ecommerce and financial institutions in particular, Intent IQ validates a device user claimed identity credentials. 

Intent IQ does it by leveraging its Identity Device Graph real-time map of devices, their users’ identities and the relations amongst the devices. Identity-device map created and tracked for persistence over time, cookies, cookie-less, IPs and devices.
